Hello, I’m Connie Veneracion.
In 2020, my daughter, Alex, started baking bread in earnest. She made her own sour dough starter from scratch (it wasn’t easy and it took several attempts) and we had freshly baked bread several times a week.
I had been diligently documenting Alex’s bread journey, and I thought… Alex’s bread recipes and my savory meaty recipes sound good together. After all, savory dishes go perfectly with bread as they do with rice or noodles.
And then, there’s the matter of finding a better home for all the baked sweets we have made in the past. The savory muffins too.
And so this blog was born.
